About the Program
Somersize is based on a two stage plan that is low in carbohydrates and high in protein. The theory behind her book is eating certain foods together that cause your body to burn more fat. Foods You Can Eat
The Somersize program deals with two stages:
- Weight Loss
This stage is set up so you’ll consume approximately 1200 calories daily. You’ll avoid processed foods, refined sugar, and limit carbohydrates. You’ll also be introduced to the Somersize Super 7 Rules.
You’ll be able to eat more foods that you like as long as you stick to the Somersize Super 7 Rules.
The plan is set up with 4 food groups: fruit, vegetables, protein, and carbohydrates. The theory of combining certain foods reflects in the order you eat foods:
- Combine proteins and fat with vegetables.
- Alway eat fruit by itself on an empty stomach.
- Eat carbohydrates with vegetables only.
- Always allow at least three hours between meals.
Exercise is promoted and there are reccommendations.
