About the Program

The Nutrisystem Vegetarian Plan caters to men and women vegetarians. The meals combine good carbs plus protein and fiber to help curb cravings.

As with all of the plans from Nutrisystem, you’ll get the complete 28-Day Meal Planner with the Daily Diary, the benefits of the heart-healthy program, online access to support and counseling as well as an array of tools to help you with your weight loss.

Foods You Can Eat

The vegetarian plan has over 70 foods to choose from.

A sample breakfast may be a Harvest Nut Bar or Berries and Multigrain Flakes; Lunch may be Mexican-Style Tortilla Soup or Fettucini Alfredo; Dinner may be Fettucini Alfredo or Pasta Primavera with Tofu; a dessert or snack may be a Peppermint Cookie Patty or Zesty Herb Snack Mix.

With the meals you’ll also have “possible additions” which means you can additional foods that you would need to purchase at your grocery. This could be light yogurt, fruits or vegetables.

Exercise

Although there isn’t a specific exercise program with the Nutrisystem Vegetarian plan, there are fitness articles available online. You can also speak one of the nutrition counselors.

Costs

With the Auto-Delivery you get the convenience of monthly shipments. The price is $300.00 plus shipping.

Prices are always subject to change and Nutrisystem does offer a lot of different specials at different times.

There are a lot of food choices in this plan that are plant based and healthy. Nutrisystem does have a proven track record and you’ll have access at all times for assistance online and by phone.

This combines nutrition, increased exercise and physical activity and helps you develop core skills. You can use all grocery foods or you can combine grocery foods with Nutrisystem foods. You’ll receive the 28 day meal planner and counseling as well as a guide to use the program, a guide for grocery shopping, traveling, portion control and dining out; a pedometer to track you fitness level and exclusive membership to the Healthy Lifestyle Discount Club.
