Fast Food Diet Review

About the Program

The Fast Food Diet is a six week guide to help you make smarter choices when it comes to eating at fast food restaurants.

Dr Stephen Sinatra developed this program because people love the convenience and taste of fast food.

Although it may sound like you can eat “anything” you want – there are restrictions. You’ll follow his “80/20″ rule of eating healthy choices eighty percent of the time, and the other twenty percent of the time you can eat all of your favorite foods.

Dr Stephen Sinatra wants to empower people to make wiser choices in order to improve weight loss and health. The chances of sticking to this diet plan may be better because of the fast paced world we live in and the convenience of drive through service.

Foods You Can Eat

The Fast Food Diet guides you in choosing the healthiest food versus the fast foods that are loaded with trans-fat. Some of the choices are:

- Eat a grilled chicken sandwich instead of a burger
- Swap cream based salad dressings for a vinaigrette dressing and save 130 calories
- Save 300 calories by drinking water with lemon instead of soda
- Swap the cookies and pie for fruit desserts
- Use mustard instead of special sauces or mayo – a big savings of 160 calories
- Swap the french fries for a baked potatoe

Dr Stephen Sinatra still wants you to eat other healthy foods – include fish, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in your meal plan. If you follow his guidance you’ll be averaging 1500 calories daily.

You’ll also find easy recipes that take less than 15 minutes to make and are a lot more nutritious.

Exercise

Sinatra also knows exercise isn’t a priority for many people. To keep it simple he says “Shave 250 calories daily from your food consumption and walk a mile”. Doing this you could easily lose 50 pounds in a year. He promotes exercise in a way you can fit it into your busy life. Walk whenever you can – at work and going to lunch, it all adds up. And if you use a pedometer as recommended you may be surprised how those steps add up and be more motivated to walk more.
